Terms of Use (EULA)

The agreement between you and Tsunagu

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Tsunagu Community (“Tsunagu”, “the App”, “we”, “us”), you agree to this End User License Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Tsunagu.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Tsunagu. By using the App you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We may require age verification at any time and may terminate accounts that fail verification.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your phone number secure. You may not share an account or operate multiple accounts.

4. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (Tsunagu Plus / Tsunagu Gold)

  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are governed by Apple’s policies; visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
  • Free trials: If a free introductory period is offered, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial period ends.

5. Consumable In-App Purchases

Tsunagu sells consumable items (Sakura, Super-Swipes, Boosts). These are non-refundable, do not roll over, and have no cash value. Apple’s refund policy still applies.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post. You grant Tsunagu a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and display your content for the purpose of operating the service.

You may not post: sexually explicit content; hate speech, harassment, threats, or content targeting protected groups; illegal content; spam or fraud; content that impersonates another person; photos of minors in any romantic or sexual context; or photos that contain personal contact information.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Tsunagu to solicit money or commercial services; coordinate offline criminal activity, prostitution, or trafficking; stalk, harass, intimidate or harm another user; reverse engineer or scrape the app; or use automated tools to create accounts or send messages. We may suspend or terminate accounts for any of these without notice.

8. Content Moderation

We use automated systems (AI-based image and text moderation) and human review to enforce these terms. We may remove content, restrict accounts, or terminate access at our discretion.

9. Verification & Japan Compliance

To send likes, matches, or messages in Japan, you must complete identity and age verification, as required under Japan’s Internet Dating Services Act (出会い系サイト規制法).

10. Privacy

Your use of Tsunagu is governed by our Privacy Policy. For users in Japan, processing is governed by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報保護法 / APPI).

11. Apple-Required Terms (Licensed Application)

You and Tsunagu acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Tsunagu (DIGITALIS LLC), not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligations. Tsunagu (not Apple) is responsible for addressing any user or third-party claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country or on any U.S. government prohibited-parties list.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the in-app settings.

13. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Tsunagu is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law

For users in Japan, these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with jurisdiction in the Tokyo District Court. For users outside Japan, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, with jurisdiction in courts located in Harris County, Texas.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new effective date at the top of this page and may notify you in-app for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
